Johnpaulca: thanks for interesting discussion on bb's. confused about one thing on it. from earlier posts i believe you implied bb40 is above bb125 in a long position. And price resists at or above bb125. so I set up a filter to see resistance above 125--but in your examples you seemed to go long on BIB and short on BIS--both of those have the price outside of both bands. which formation do you see as being preferable? price in between bb40 and bb125 or outside of both?

This test was using trendlines, one was overbought and the other oversold(inversely correlated -1.00). From a band perspective it's not a buy as yet, my guess it will be after the vote.

SPY....30 min timeframe
look for retracement to roughly 209.92(eyeball), then traders will try revisit 210.55. I'm expecting choppy action until we see the Brexit results.
